Short answer
Epic states the in-game Item Shop and Web Shop refresh at around 00:00 GMT / UTC every day — one global rotation for everyone. Official article: When does Fortnite’s Item Shop refresh?.
In the shop UI, open About Shop for Epic’s timezone notes if you are unsure.
Last reviewed: July 2026. Rare live events can delay a reset; trust the in-game clock if it disagrees with this page.

Not as a standard rule. Some special tabs or event modules can update on different schedules, but the main Featured / Daily rotation is the midnight UTC refresh.
FAQ
What time does the Item Shop update in EST?
7:00 PM Eastern under standard offset from 00:00 UTC (watch daylight saving: Eastern shifts between EST/EDT, but Epic’s anchor stays UTC midnight).
Why is my shop different from a friend’s?
It should not be — same global catalog. Cache / still loading after reset is the usual cause. Relog or wait a minute past 00:00 UTC.
