How to Get A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket in Fortnite (Captain’s Day Boss)

A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket is a Treasure Hunters item from v43.00 (1 November 2026). Epic’s line: use Shock Rock charges to get airborne, then rain rockets on anyone below. It is available in non-Competitive play.

It is a Boss drop, not floor loot and not an Item Shop row. The A$AP Rocky Outfit is a separate shop drop on 5 November 2026 at 7 PM ET. Do not mix those two up.

1. Queue Battle Royale or Zero Build — not Ranked / Competitive. Epic put Shock Rocket on the non-Competitive list. Ranked will not be the farm.
2. Land The $.$. Rocky — A$AP Rocky’s battleship POI on Crossbones Isle. Epic named this ship in the 30 Oct Treasure Hunters post and in the 1 Nov launch notes.
3. Challenge A$AP Rocky as a Boss. First Captain’s Day started 1 November at 9 AM ET. Epic says take him down and he can drop Shock Rocket and the Lil’ Flacko Sprite.
4. Loot the deck after the fight. Epic’s 1 Nov notes also say to raid the deck for loot — the ship is a POI, not a one-item shrine.

“Can drop” is the whole rule. Epic did not publish odds, a pity timer, or a “always Shock Rocket + always Sprite” table. If the Boss dies and you see neither, that is allowed by the copy they wrote. Third parties will take the floor loot.

Captain’s Days after today (Epic’s calendar): 7 Nov, 12 Nov, 14 Nov, 21 Nov. Later captains bring their own weapons and Sprites. Shock Rocket is the week-1 Boss toy. Do not wait for a later Captain’s Day hoping Rocky stays the only Boss forever — Epic said a new captain arrives each week.

From Epic, not from a spreadsheet:

• Shock Rock charges pop you into the air. Treat it as vertical mobility plus a threat, not a infinite jetpack.
• From that height you fire rockets down. This is why the ship and any high ground on Crossbones Isle matter.
• Competitive playlists do not get it. If you are climbing Ranked, this page is not your loadout. Use the ranked hub and the new Treasure Hunters ranked rewards listed on the season hub.

We are not publishing made-up damage, mag size, or “best rarity.” Confirm the in-game inspect after you pick it up. Balance will move.

Same fight. Epic: Lil’ Flacko creates a small shockwave on landing that knocks back opponents. It is also in the launch twelve on Sprites. If you care about Sprite Mastery more than the launcher, this is still the week-1 Boss to run.

• Not a map pin called “Shock Rocket spawn.” The weapon comes off the Boss / the ship fight.
• Not the Pirate Shop. Pirate Shop Access is a chest prize that claims Item Shop rows. How-to: Pirate Shop Access.
• Not the 5 Nov shop skin. Buying A$AP Rocky on the 5th does not put Shock Rocket in your inventory.
• Not guaranteed every kill. Epic wrote can.

Crossbones Isle is 80 players. The battleship is a named drop. Expect contest.

• Mark The $.$. Rocky only if your squad will take a 80-player POI fight. If the bus is bad, rotate in after first circle instead of contesting 12 landing pads.
• Cannons are the new rotate (Epic: climb into a cannon to launch across the island). Use one to leave or to third-party the ship — do not stand on deck crafting if the lobby heard the Boss.
• Gold Bars are vaulted this season. Follower NPC services are free; vending machines are gone. You cannot buy your way out of a lost ship fight with bars.
• If you get the launcher, leave. Sitting on the ship to “flex rockets” is how you donate it.

Explosive Cannon Balls are also non-Competitive only and load into cannons. Different item. Do not farm Rocky for cannon balls.

On The $.$. Rocky, the battleship POI. Fortnite-API’s public map dump was still the previous Override island on launch afternoon — trust the in-game label, not a stale minimap overlay. Our interactive map says the same.

Epic’s Boss notes are Battle Royale. Zero Build is the same island without builds. Competitive / Ranked is the playlist they excluded for the item, not the Boss POI.

Epic did not print a squad-share rule for Shock Rocket. Play as if only the player who loots the floor item has it. (Pirate Shop recaps claimed squad share for that chest prize — different system.)

Epic: 7, 12, 14, 21 November, plus Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays all season. Week 2 copy names Lil Uzi on a fort (7 Nov). Week 3 is Miku & Teto at the resort (14 Nov). Week 4 is Oscar and a Frenzy Auto Shotgun (21 Nov).

No official one. Anyone selling a “guaranteed Shock Rocket island” is running the same scam pattern as V-Bucks generators.
