Pick a drop for the game you are actually playing
“Best drop” is a bad query unless you say ranked, loot, Sprites, or placement. Harbor wins chests and loses LP. Sunken Shores does the opposite. These five pages cover returning Override POIs — Green Hill Zone, Reality’s Reign, and Stone Sanctum do not have dedicated guides yet.
Loot and fights
Heatwave Harbor if you can win a tower. Battlewoods if you want mats and you accept mid-game traffic. Neither is a “best drop” for placement.
Sprite / cube bank
Wonkeeland (loop next to POI) or Sunken Shores (quiet south pad). Harbor extract is a magnet. Latte has no dedicated pad — you walk to Golden Grove.
Zone already looks north / snow
Do not commit Sunken Shores without mobility. Wonkeeland still works. Woods is closer to Lifty if you can win the land.

Lifty, Frosted Flats, Strip, Grove, Sanctuary, Cluster, Calamari, Chopped Shop, and Zero Point still use the short tooltip plus the older map articles. We did not clone a pin into 14 thin URLs.
FAQ
Are these the same as the Fortnite map pin tooltips?
No. The interactive map keeps short contest / loot / extract notes on each pin. These drop pages are landing-and-rotate guides: how to split the POI, when to extract, where third parties come from, and when to leave. Use the map for pins; use these pages when you search “best drop [POI].”
Are these drops still accurate in Override?
They cover five returning POIs (last reviewed 17 Aug 2026 for paths). Traffic patterns changed with Override — Green Hill Zone, Reality’s Reign, and Stone Sanctum do not have dedicated pages yet. Use the live map for new names; treat these five as starting points, not gospel.
Which drop is best for ranked?
Latte Landing and Wonkeeland are the balanced defaults. Sunken Shores is the placement / LP edge. Heatwave Harbor and Battlewoods are for lobby control, not clean climb games. Ranked still pays placement more than elims — see the ranked hub.
Where should I land if I want mythics?
Mythic names on the weapons page may still list late Runners bosses. Override introduced new mythics — trust the in-game inventory over an old list. These five pages are named-POI rotates, not a boss-route spreadsheet. Check the season hub for honesty notes.
Do I still need the loot-spots and all-locations guides?
Yes. Those two map guides cover the whole island in article form. These five URLs exist so “best drop Heatwave Harbor” is not a pin dump. Linked from the map pins and from /drops.
