Green Hill Zone overview
Green Hill Zone is a new named POI on the Override island (Chapter 7 Season 4) — the Sonic-flavored biome players search for after the 20 Aug reboot. It is a hot landing: strong early loot, high third-party traffic, and rotates that pull toward center / Reality’s Reign.

Returning hot drops (Heatwave Harbor, Battlewoods) still exist. Green Hill is *extra* contested because it is new and branded.
Drop plan
- Bus angle — Mark Green Hill early. If half the lobby marks it, swing to a side POI or edge of the biome instead of dead-center.
- Land high / roof first when the zone has vertical buildings — claim chests before floor scrap.
- Leave with a shotgun + mid — Override launch pool favors 8-Bit Shotgun / classic pumps and unvault ARs; confirm in the weapons encyclopedia after hotfixes.
- Rotate early toward zone or Reality’s Reign / Geno’s Machine if storm pulls center — late rotates across open Sonic flats are free damage.
Rotates and third parties
- Expect third parties from Reality’s Reign and inland traffic once mid-game starts.
- Edge players from Cluster Coast / east can pinch if zone favors that half.
- Match Overrides can rewrite speed / loot mid-match — do not assume classic BR pace. See Match Overrides explained.
Loot expectations (honest)
We are not publishing fake chest counts. Treat Green Hill as high contest, high reward: enough floor loot and chests to kit a squad if you win the POI, not a free uncontested farm like Sunken Shores.
Spawn layers (chests, vehicles, Sprite-related pins when live): toggle them on the map.
When to skip Green Hill
- You need LP and your duo cannot win 3+ contested fights before first zone.
- Bus is unfavorable and you would land 15+ seconds late.
- You are learning Override guns — drop Wonkeeland or Latte for cleaner mid-game practice.

Is Green Hill Zone on the old Shattered Coast map?
Override rebuilt center / Sonic biomes on the live island. Named list also adds Reality’s Reign and Stone Sanctum; Frosted Flats / Sinister Strip / Calamari Canyon dropped off the named list. Full list: map locations.
